Dudok Horeca Groep

More than just apple pie

It all began in 1991 in a distinctive building on the Meent in Rotterdam, designed by architect Willem Marinus Dudok. His last name inspired the name of the brasserie. A name that, more than thirty years later, is still synonymous with the brand. Today, Dudok Horeca Groep has grown into a company with three areas of expertise that reinforce one another: hospitality, pastry, and events.

The grand cafés and brasseries are where Dudok welcomes guests for a cup of coffee, drinks, lunch, or dinner. The products Dudok is known for, including their iconic apple pie, are made daily in its own bakery. Craftsmanship and quality are most important here, and you can really taste that.

All of this expertise comes together at Dudok’s event venues. A product launch featuring pastries made in the own bakery. A networking event where the catering is just as memorable as the venue itself. Unique venues, the patisserie, and in-house catering: you’ll find it all under one roof and with the same high standard

Iconic venues with a story

A special event starts with a special venue. Not just any space with four walls, but a place that exudes its own history. A venue where architecture, character, and hospitality come together and that leaves a lasting impression from the very start. That’s what connects Dudok’s iconic event venues.

From industrial heritage to historic waterfront buildings: every venue tells a story. Take the Van Nelle Fabriek, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Europe’s first daylight factory. Still a paragon of progressive architecture. Today, its enormous glass walls, open structures, and impressive spaces serve as the backdrop for international conferences, trade shows, and events hosting up to 4,000 guests.

Cruise Terminal

Cruise Terminal Rotterdam also boasts a rich history. Where thousands of emigrants once began their journey to a new life, this iconic location now welcomes guests from home and abroad. With over 4,000 square meters of event space and a panoramic view of the Rotterdam skyline, the Cruise Terminal serves as an impressive venue for conferences, gala dinners, and large-scale business events.

Rotterdam’s industrial character also comes to life at the Schiecentrale. This former power plant, built in 1904, with its imposing Turbine Hall, offers a robust and contemporary setting for conferences, product launches, corporate parties, and events up to 2,000 people. A short distance from this location, the HAKA Gebouw also tells a unique story. Once the commercial hub where coffee, tea, and foodstuffs entered the city, now a fully renovated venue where history and modern comfort come together for conferences, networking events, and inspiring product presentations.

Dudok outside Rotterdam

Dudok also brings unique venues to life outside Rotterdam. Dudok aan ’t IJ is the catering partner of the Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ. With an atmospheric brasserie and a spacious terrace right on the water, this is the ideal spot for business lunches, cocktail receptions, group dinners, and events where fine dining and a unique location complement each other.

No matter which venue you choose, they all have one thing in common: a story you can feel the moment you step inside. It is precisely this combination of history, character, and Dudok’s hospitality that turns every event into an experience guests will remember for a long time to come.

These venues form the beating heart of Dudok Events, but they don’t tell the whole story. The portfolio extends beyond the large conference and event venues to include distinctive spots such as the RDM Kantine, the historic Kuyls Fundatie, Dudok In Het Park and the contemporary Dudok Aan De Maas. In addition, the iconic Dudok restaurants in Rotterdam, The Hague, and Arnhem are also part of Dudok.

Rotterdam’s Pride

The Dudok team consists of young talent and experienced professionals. Colleagues who know their craft and genuinely enjoy what they do. They are hospitable, dedicated, and down-to-earth. Delivering quality with the distinctive Rotterdam pride. At Dudok, from the very first meeting, a team is ready to work with you and take the pressure off. Experienced staff, who know the venues inside out, are always on hand at the locations as well. They ensure that everything runs smoothly, from power supply and setup to catering and guest flow. Questions are answered immediately, and issues are resolved before they become problems. Dudok’s clients appreciate that level of commitment.

Well-organized and flexible. That’s what clients often say after an event at Dudok. And that’s ultimately what it’s all about: an event that runs smoothly, guests who go home satisfied, and a client who can look back on the day with a sense of satisfaction. Whether it’s a cocktail party, a company party, or a product launch: at Dudok you’ll find the perfect venue to make it something special. So, do you have something to celebrate? Celebrate it with Dudok.
