About
Proeflokaal 't Blauwe Theehuis is located in the middle of the Vondelpark. The catering establishment, which belongs to one of Brewery 't IJ's tasting rooms, is located in a monumental building in the heart of Amsterdam.
The terrace
The round building is surrounded by a large and spacious terrace and embraced by the green trees from the peaceful park. The terrace can accommodate groups of up to 100 for lunch and dinner and up to 300 for drinks. Both small and large groups are always and in every season welcome with us. On the terrace there is also the possibility to play petanque and table tennis.
Upper floor
Inside are the bar and the stairs to the upper floor. Once upstairs you enter a round room. What immediately stands out here are the large windows that embrace the space and offer a unique panoramic view of the Vondelpark. The space has its own bar and a spacious terrace surrounding the building.
This upper floor can be rented out privately and offers space for meetings, group lunches, dinners and parties. There is the possibility of playing your own music.

Ontzettend leuke plek om te vergaderen met goede service!
Vorige week hebben wij met een groep collega's vergaderd op deze leuke locatie. De communicatie vooraf verliep erg soepel en op de dag zelf was alles goed georganiseerd. Vriendelijk personeel en lekkere gerechten op de kaart. Zeker een aanrader als je een vergaderplek zoekt.
Fijne zaak!
Locatie is misschien wel de mooiste in Amsterdam! Wij zijn goed verzorgd gedurende ons evenement! Onwijs bedankt nogmaals! Rutger

Here you will find practical information about the location.
There are several parking options around Vondelpark, including mostly parking garages. These are always chargeable.
Our location is easy to reach by public transport. From Amsterdam Central Station take streetcar 2 towards Nieuw Sloten and get off at Cornelis Schuytstraat. From here it is a 6-minute walk to 't Blauwe Theehuis.
Certainly that is possible, there are several hotels nearby. Within walking distance of the Vondelpark, Leidseplein and Museumplein are several hotels in different price ranges. .
It is not possible to bring your own caterer. We will provide the catering ourselves. We like to take into account special wishes of the guest so please let us know. Together we can see what the possibilities are.
Our opening hours are until 00:00. However, we have a permit until 03:00 (on Friday and Saturday). This is for indoors only. (maximum of 50 people).
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 72 hours in advance. After this in consultation.
