The Markenhoven parking garage is located near Waterlooplein, the Hermitage, Artis, the Stopera, and Nemo, and is 100 meters away from the Baxter Building. There are tram and bus stops at Waterlooplein. The Markenhoven parking garage has a capacity of 352 parking spaces. The Mr. Visserplein tram stop is located right outside the door of the Baxter Building. Additionally, there is a metro stop near our location. Anticipating many guests arriving by public transport? We are happy to arrange taxis through our private taxi service.
The Baxter Building is located in the heart of Amsterdam's city center, which means there are several hotels available within a 10-minute walking distance. We are happy to advise you on transportation options for your guests to and from these hotels. For instance, we have a private taxi service at our disposal.
Baxter Building collaborates with multiple caterers. If their offerings don't meet your needs, you're welcome to discuss bringing in another caterer. Please note: self-catering, including serving self-prepared items, is also an option, provided you have your own tableware and cutlery.
At Baxter Building, you can host a party until 2:00 a.m. Later hours can be arranged in consultation with the Baxter team and the party planner, Art-Ventura. Quotations are available upon request.
When making a booking, a minimum of 50% must be paid before the first appointment, and in case of cancellation less than 24 hours in advance, 20% of the total amount will be charged.
Because Baxter Building is located almost directly next to the IJ Tunnel, the building is easily accessible by car. You'll see the parking garage when you exit the tunnel, and from there, it's only a 2-minute walk. Parking in front of the building is also possible, provided there is space available. The parking fee is €7.50 per hour.
