The Frederik is located at Frederiksplein 16 in the heart of Amsterdam, close to the vibrant Utrechtsestraat and iconic Amstel River. The venue offers an impressive view on the charming and green square. The beauty of its surroundings offers the perfect opportunity for a refreshing stroll in between meetings.
The space of 170m2 on the ground floor offers a boardroom for up to 18 people with a flexible set-up and lots of daylight due to the large ceiling-to-floor Art Nouveau windows. Two additional break-out rooms are located at the back of the building and offer a view on our garden.
The Frederik is designed by the interior designers of The Loft (www.entertheloft.com), which has created a very unique, tasteful, and homely atmosphere that boosts creativity. Aesthetics, inspiration, and intimacy distinguish The Playing Circle's venues from others.
The venue offers all facilities and audio visuals for your event. With a vast network of organic and local suppliers The Playing Circle team will provide customized solutions for all your requests.
The Playing Circle offers several other inspirational event venues on the Amsterdam canals that are suitable for a large variety of corporate events, workshops, and training sessions up to 60 pax. All venues are easily accessible by bike and public transport. It will take you less than 15 minutes by metro line 52 - or ‘Noord/Zuidlijn’ - from Zuidas business district. Public parking is available in the area.

Public parking is available in the area. The Playing Circle can provide exit cards of the 'APCOA Prins & Keizer' garage upon request. There is also street parking on Frederiksplein and Falckstraat.
De Frederik is easily accessible by bike and public transport. It will take you less than 15 minutes by metro line 52 - or ‘Noord/Zuidlijn’ - from Zuidas business district.
There are many hotels for different budgets within walking distance from De Frederik.
Generally, it is not allowed to bring your own catering, but we sometimes make exceptions.
De Frederik does not allow parties.
Free cancellation is allowed up to 8 weeks prior to the start date of the event. Within 8 weeks a cancellation fee will be charged. The complete cancellation policy is included in the General Terms & Conditions, which will be attached to the first proposal.
De Frederik is located on Frederiksplein in the city centre of Amsterdam. The Playing Circle always encourages its guests to travel by bike or public transport. However, in case you are traveling by car, the venue advises to park on the street or use one the public parking garages in the area.
