Congres- en vergadercentrum In de Driehoek

Conference and meeting location In de Driehoek is a small-scale, easily accessible meeting center in the heart of Utrecht. Part of the center is the historic Gertrudiskapel with many medieval details. Additionally, it has modern meeting rooms.

The rooms are very suitable for congresses, meetings, training sessions, workshops, and presentations as well as receptions, festive lunches, and dinners. 
The Gertrudiskapel has the status of a European Monument and features many historical paintings.

History
The Gertrudiskapel served as a church until 1914, and how it looked back then can be seen in a painting by Johannes Steffelaar from 1896. This painting is still on display in the current conference and meeting center. The church was abandoned with the opening of the new cathedral church. In 1928, the Old Catholic Museum was established there. It moved in 1968 to the present-day Catharijneconvent, where it has its own section. A major restoration was carried out in the 1990s, during which the chapel received the Europa Nostra Award, a prize for (preservation of) cultural heritage. Since 1992, the Gertrudiskapel has been the historical gem of conference and meeting center In de Driehoek.
