In een sprookjesachtig 16e eeuws Rijksmonument in hartje Schiedam, bevindt zich de historische Branderszaal. Een beroemde plek waar begin 1900 de Bond van Distillateurs samen kwam om te vergaderen en die grotendeels gebleven is zoals het toen was.
En vergadert wordt er nog steeds! Maar dan door groepen die een inspirerende plek zoeken. Zodra je de reusachtige deur achter je dichttrekt en de rust en stilte van de Branderszaal je vriendelijk omarmt, waan je je dan ook in een andere wereld.
Te midden van eeuwenoude molens, een fluisterboot die voor de deur langs vaart, het Jenevermuseum, chocolade atelier de Bonte Koe en het Stedelijk museum is dit echt een locatie die sprankelt, energie geeft en betovert! En ondanks het feit dat je midden in de stad bent, kun je toch makkelijk vlakbij parkeren voor een schappelijk tarief.
