Fort Resort Beemster is centrally located, just a short distance from Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Purmerend, Volendam, and Hoorn.

Situated in the Droogmakerij de Beemster, a UNESCO World Heritage site, this fort of the Stelling van Amsterdam provides a unique setting for your meeting or event.

Built in 1913, the fort underwent a transformation in 2012 while preserving its historical features. Hidden within the historic fort walls, you'll discover a unique Spa & Wellness, two restaurants, sixteen hotel rooms, a lounge terrace, and a space for meetings and events.

Fort Resort Beemster offers various beautiful spaces. The Fort Room is bright, spacious, and distinctive with its authentic fort wall and modern chandelier. This multifunctional space is adjacent to the lounge terrace and is suitable for meetings, corporate parties, events, and dinners.

The Poterne room is located in the central part of the fort and is suitable for smaller groups or private dining.

The Poterne terrace, nestled between the fort dikes, exudes a fantastic atmosphere in good weather, complete with an outdoor kitchen, lounge sofas, Bedouin tent, fireplaces, and a bar.

Chef Paul de Graaf and his team work with the finest ingredients and products from the region and the season. They passionately prepare the most delicious dishes for every event, from a luxurious gourmet dinner to a cozy barbecue.

The Q.E.D. salon boat is an authentic bakdekker restored to a luxury boat. Formerly located in Amsterdam at the Amstel Hotel, it now sails under the flag of Fort Resort Beemster since 2018. The Q.E.D. features a beautiful bar, modern kitchen, toilet, heating, Wi-Fi, and audio equipment with USB, with a capacity for up to 35 people and seating for 20 people.

On the Q.E.D., you can enjoy a unique sailing experience with friends, colleagues, or family during a cocktail party, lunch, or dinner. Taste seasonal dishes prepared in the modern kitchen, along with matching wines aboard the Q.E.D. The skipper navigates towards Amsterdam or the Alkmaardermeer.
