In the heart of Bronkhorst, the smallest town in the Netherlands, you will find the atmospheric Hotel Restaurant Herberg de Gouden Leeuw.

Right across from the restored Slotkapel from 1344 of Kasteel Bronkhorst. Bronkhorst has had city rights since 1482 and, with its 150 inhabitants, is the smallest town in the Netherlands. Besides the history of Bronkhorst, there is plenty to experience around Herberg de Gouden Leeuw!

When you visit Herberg de Gouden Leeuw, you step into one of the most beautiful and oldest town farms in the Netherlands. Originally, this town farm consisted of three separate buildings: the mayor's residence from 1575, the town farm from 1650, and the horse mill from 1750. Today, these three monumental buildings have been completely renovated and modernized, so they provide a warm and modern accommodation for its guests, just like a true inn.

At Herberg de Gouden Leeuw, you can also host business meetings. We offer special meeting packages, and your meeting package can also be combined with an activity such as a moped or scooter tour. Clay pigeon or crossbow shooting, a visit to the Bronckhorster Brewery, or a wine tasting.
