Herberg De Gouden Leeuw

In the heart of Bronkhorst, the smallest town in the Netherlands, is the atmospheric Hotel Restaurant Herberg de Gouden Leeuw located.

Directly opposite the restored Slotkapel from 1344 of Kasteel Bronkhorst. Bronkhorst has had city rights since 1482 and, with its 150 inhabitants, is the smallest town in the Netherlands. Besides the history of Bronkhorst, there is plenty to experience around Herberg de Gouden Leeuw!

Anyone visiting Herberg de Gouden Leeuw steps into one of the most beautiful and oldest city farms in the Netherlands. Originally, this city farm consisted of three separate buildings: the mayor's residence from 1575, the city farm from 1650, and the horse mill from 1750. Today, these three monumental buildings have been completely renovated and modernized, so that they provide a warm and modern accommodation to its guests like a true inn.

At Herberg de Gouden Leeuw, you can also come for business meetings. We have special meeting packages for this, and your meeting package can also be combined with an activity such as a moped or scooter tour. Clay pigeon shooting or crossbow shooting, a visit to the Bronckhorster Brewery or a wine tasting.
