House Hodshon does not have its own parking spaces. There is a paid public parking garage across the street from the house. This is just a 5-minute walk. Paid parking is also available on the street.

About the venue

The oh-so-beautiful Huis Hodshon as the ideal event location.

Just imagine, the most beautiful house by the Haarlem Spaarne that is yours for a moment. Yes, it’s possible! The stunning Huis Hodshon was built by the Amsterdam architect Abraham van der Hart (who also designed Huis Barnaart), back in 1794.

The client? Cornelia Catharina Hodshon, who had a clear wish: to live in a spectacular house by the Spaarne. And you can see that, as no expense was spared to make that wish come true. From sublime wood carvings to beautiful stucco and painting work: almost everything has been preserved.

Once inside, you forget that you are actually in the heart of Haarlem. You experience tranquility, the interior styles are delightful, and the view of the Spaarne is fantastic. The acoustics in the Aula are excellent, as it was formerly used as a music room. The library, boardroom, and the aula are available for rent for your event. There is also an elevator present.
