About the venue
Hotel New York is located in the former headquarters of the Holland America Line on the Kop van Zuid in Rotterdam.
Where once thousands of emigrants left full of hope for a better life in North America, guests now come to stay overnight, eat, drink, marry, meet, and celebrate in a special atmosphere. When you step into Hotel New York, you experience it: this is where it happens. And the nostalgia can still be felt everywhere.
Eating and Drinking
In which restaurant in Rotterdam can you eat and drink better than at Hotel New York? On the ground floor, there is a large café-restaurant with a capacity of 400 guests. Thanks to the extensive à la carte menu, our guests can enjoy meals that are elaborate or simple, in all price ranges and from early morning until late at night. High ceilings, colorful lamps, sturdy ship elements, and robust pipes and pillars characterize the unique atmosphere of the restaurant, where there is always a lively buzz.
Meetings
Hotel New York is the ideal place to hold meetings with your company, give presentations, brainstorm, or conduct workshops. The high ceilings, natural light, colorful and nostalgic decor of the rooms, and the location at the tip of the Wilhelminapier ensure that Hotel New York is an inspiring environment for doing business.
Sleeping
Hotel New York has 72 rooms, including two tower rooms, authentic executive suites, and a rooftop room with a private terrace. The rooms all differ in shape, decor, color, and nod to the building's origin. The beds and facilities are the same in all rooms. In short, Hotel New York is the place for an unforgettable stay.
NY Basement
Exciting cocktails and culinary creations in the atmosphere of pre-war Manhattan. Stylish ornaments and colorful patterns. An interior that is as trendy as it is historical. NY Basement is a trendy restaurant and cocktail bar in the basement of our nostalgic and characteristic building at the tip of the Wilhelminapier.
