Lowlander Botanical Bar & Restaurant is located next to the Kromhouthal on the 'De Overkant' industrial estate. The restaurant is situated in a stunning industrial space that is unparalleled. With an enormous south-facing terrace, right along the IJ river with a view of passing boats, it's the ideal setting for lunch, drinks, or dinner all day long.

You can rent the entire restaurant for your corporate event, wedding, or any other occasion; everything is possible.

Our mission is to maximize flavors and minimize waste. That's why we use surplus batches and excess products - high-quality, seasonal ingredients that would otherwise go to waste - to create flavorful plant-based dishes and beverages.

Upon request, we can offer you a (sustainable) meat or fish option.

Our menu offers a fresh take on familiar classics, with each dish prepared using herbs, spices, and techniques that ensure we get the most out of every flavor and retain it. And, of course, we have a creative selection of botanically brewed beers (both with and without alcohol), botanical sodas, fresh teas, 100% natural juices, and botanical cocktails.

Because we like to contribute to building a better food system, in addition to using surplus ingredients, we also choose products from local, organic, and environmentally conscious suppliers.

We also care about what our customers consume; so everything is free from refined sugar, additives, and preservatives.
