In the wooded area of Achterhoek, lies the special Castle Ruurlo. This national monument is one of the most beautiful castles in the area and is surrounded by a stunning English landscape garden. Museum MORE | Castle Ruurlo is located in a historic and beautiful castle from the 14th century. A fitting location for the work and life of the cool master Carel Willink. Castle Ruurlo has a rich history. It combines five centuries of architectural history with top-level modern architecture. In addition to the castle and the Willink collection, also visit the restored landscape garden and the Orangerie. The mix of art, history, architecture, and the beautiful nature makes a visit to the castle well worth it. Castle Ruurlo guarantees a complete experience.
Well accessible by car (free parking spots), but also by train, which stops next to the park.
