• SHU is located in the heart of Amsterdam. Parking in the immediate area is limited and fully paid. We therefore recommend visitors use one of the nearby parking garages, such as: Parkeergarage Rokin (Rokin 67) – approximately 300 meters walking distance. The closest option and ideal for quick and easy parking. Q-Park Amsterdam De Bijenkorf (Beursplein 15) – about 500 meters away, spacious and centrally located. Parkeergarage De Kolk (Nieuwezijds Kolk 18) – roughly 850 meters, a good alternative when garages closer by are full. For suppliers or B2B partners, temporary loading and unloading arrangements can be made in consultation, in the immediate vicinity of Handboogstraat.

• SHU is located in the heart of Amsterdam, which means car access is limited. Handboogstraat itself is pedestrian-only, and all nearby parking is paid. Visitors are advised to use one of the nearby parking garages, such as Rokin or De Bijenkorf. For suppliers or B2B partners, temporary loading and unloading arrangements can be coordinated upon request.

• SHU is easily accessible by public transport. The venue is within short walking distance of several tram and metro stops in the heart of Amsterdam. Rokin Metro Station (North/South Line) is just a few minutes away, as are the tram stops at Spui, Rokin, and Koningsplein. From Amsterdam Central Station, the metro takes only 2 minutes to Rokin, from where you can walk directly to Handboogstraat. • Yes, there are several hotels within close walking distance of SHU. A few convenient options include: Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam – a luxury 5-star hotel located on Dam Square, about 500 meters from SHU. Hotel The Albus – a modern 4-star hotel near Spui, approximately 300 meters away. NH Collection Amsterdam Flower Market – a stylish and centrally located hotel, about 400 meters on foot. Hotel V Nesplein – a boutique hotel with a warm atmosphere, roughly 500 meters away. INK Hotel Amsterdam – MGallery – a luxurious 4-star hotel about 600 meters from SHU, heading toward Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. The Hoxton, Amsterdam – a trendy boutique hotel in the Nine Streets area, approximately 700 meters walking distance. Ambassade Hotel – an upscale boutique hotel on the Herengracht, around 800 meters away. For guests or partners who wish to explore further, there are plenty of additional hotel options around Rokin, Spui, and Dam Square. • SHU works with fixed catering partners. If this does not fully meet your preferences, we are happy to think along and explore alternatives or find a suitable solution together.

• As a rule, SHU provides all beverages and catering through its trusted partners. Bringing your own drinks is not permitted. For food, exceptions can sometimes be made upon request, for example, for cultural or thematic events. These situations are always discussed in advance and handled under specific conditions. We are happy to think along with you to find what fits both the concept and the practical execution.

• SHU holds a license until 3:00 AM on weekdays and until 5:00 AM on weekends. The exact end time also depends on the regular club programming. In consultation, we will review whether the desired timing is feasible for the specific date. During club nights, certain time slots or areas may not be available for private events.

• The cancellation policy of SHU is as follows: Cancellations up to 4 months before the event can be made free of charge. For cancellations up to 3 months prior to the event, 30% of the total amount of this proposal will be charged. For cancellations up to 2 months prior to the event, 50% of the total amount will be charged. For cancellations up to 1 month before the event, we are obliged to charge 100% of the total amount of this proposal.
