Atelier de Vijzel (60 pax) is located on the so-called ‘Golden Bend’, which historically is the most prestigious part of the Herengracht canal. It is here that the wealthiest citizens build the most impressive canal houses in the 17th century. One of the neighboring houses – with breathtaking gardens – is the official residence of the mayor of Amsterdam. Also, the majestic City Archives are located across the street. The large windows offer a stunning view on both Amsterdam icons.
In more recent times Atelier de Vijzel was used as the atelier of a famous fashion house, which is why the venue is set up very spaciously. The room is therefore suitable for splitting up the plenary group in several break-out groups.
Besides having beautiful historic elements Atelier de Vijzel offers all facilities and audio visuals for your modern-day event. With a vast network of organic and local suppliers The Playing Circle team will provide customized solutions for all your requests.

Free cancellation is allowed up to 8 weeks prior to the start date of the event. Within 8 weeks a cancellation fee will be charged. The complete cancellation policy is included in the General Terms & Conditions, which will be attached to the first proposal.
Atelier de Vijzel is located on Vijzelstraat. The Playing Circle always encourages its guests to travel by bike or public transport. However, in case you are traveling by car, the venue advises to park on the street or use one the public parking garages in the area.
