The Playing Circle - Atelier de Vijzel

Atelier de Vijzel (60 pax) is located on the so-called ‘Golden Bend’, which historically is the most prestigious part of the Herengracht canal. It is here that the wealthiest citizens build the most impressive canal houses in the 17th century. One of the neighboring houses – with breathtaking gardens – is the official residence of the mayor of Amsterdam. Also, the majestic City Archives are located across the street. The large windows offer a stunning view on both Amsterdam icons.

In more recent times Atelier de Vijzel was used as the atelier of a famous fashion house, which is why the venue is set up very spaciously. The room is therefore suitable for splitting up the plenary group in several break-out groups.

The Playing Circle offers several other inspirational event venues on the Amsterdam canals that are suitable for a large variety of corporate events, workshops, and trainings up to 60 pax. All venues are easily accessible by bike and public transport. It will take you less than 15 minutes by metro line 52 - or ‘Noord/Zuidlijn’ - from Zuidas business district. Public parking is available in the area.
