About the venue
Sandcastle was designed in the 1980s by the architecture firm Alberts & van Huut as a new office for ING. It was meant to be a building where people were central. It became a striking, organic design consisting of 10 T-shaped towers connected in an S-shaped curve. A unique counterpart to all the rectangular office buildings from that time. Sandcastle is not only special to see from the outside, but it is certainly unique on the inside as well. The building has many height differences, a remarkable play of lines, beautiful sightlines, and a lot of unique details, such as art specifically developed for Sandcastle. Whether it's a 1-on-1 session or a large training, you can alternate between various spots inside and outside. Ideal for organizing different breakout sessions and then ending the day with a toast.
Meeting Rooms
Meeting, a brainstorming session, a presentation, a workshop, Sandcastle offers all the possibilities to come together and make the most of your meeting. There are 12 meeting rooms, each with its own layout and atmosphere. The special design provides a unique experience that inspires and impresses your guests. In addition to the meeting rooms, you will find various squares with workspaces, tables, and corners for informal discussions, brainstorming, or collaboration in the internal street of Sandcastle. Take a seat in the auditorium, at a two-person workspace, or at a long table. Sandcastle offers a spot for every type of consultation that meets your needs.
Food and Drink
Sandcastle has various facilities for food and drink and a café that is accessible to everyone. A cup of coffee in the cozy DE living room café, a snack, a sandwich or a salad, and of course various options for extensive lunch and event catering.
Events and Parties
Sandcastle offers more than just a place to work or meet. There is a lot to experience and organize in the unique spaces of the building. Lunching in the café, yoga among the visual arts in the gardens, a film screening in the cinema, a jazz session on the theater square, or an event in one of the unique spaces of Sandcastle are just a few examples of the possibilities.
Sustainable
Sandcastle provides an environment where sustainability and ESG standards are highly valued.
