About the space

The Park was founded together with the Kröller-Müller Museum at the beginning of the twentieth century by the couple Kröller-Müller.

This couple had a vision: to bring together culture and nature for the benefit of all. This is exactly why the Museum is located in the Park. Even now, the Park and the world-famous Kröller-Müller Museum work together to maintain this vision.

However, from the beginning, both the Park and the Museum have been independent foundations. An important aspect is that the Foundation The National Park De Hoge Veluwe operates independently of subsidies. Therefore, income from entrance fees is very important. By your visit, you actively contribute to the preservation of The National Park De Hoge Veluwe.

Enjoy these 5400 hectares of nature, hop on the white bicycles, or take a walking meeting. This way, the subspaces can be replaced by a natural meeting environment.
