Welcome to the domain of the brewmaster. The great guardian of the unique Heineken recipe, a combination of only four different ingredients. Still an important and defining role within Heineken. Mr. Wilhelm Feltmann, alias ‘the Thirsty Hothead’ was the first brewmaster of Rotterdam. A difficult character who liked to argue with Gerard Heineken. But friction gives shine! Feltmann was the foundation of the technical transition that Heineken made and started his own lab. A lively discussion and a lot of teamwork are not new in this space; it has been buzzing here for about 150 years.
