History

Until the time of Napoleon, the church stood free in the city, surrounded by trees. In 1813, the garden was walled in, and the old wall is still present, giving the garden a secluded and private character.

Possibilities

The garden is suitable for various outdoor activities, from poetry readings and wine tastings to yoga or a conference with pagoda tents. Enjoy local delicacies like oysters or vegetable dishes from the Zeeland vegetable garden, which taste even better outdoors.
