Welcome to Het Houtse Meer, a breathtaking location nestled in an oasis of green with a stunning view over a vast lake. Conveniently located for Benelux companies and easily accessible via the A27 and A59, between Breda and Oosterhout, our venue also offers ample parking for about 225 cars.
Sustainability and innovation
Het Houtse Meer is proud to be GREEN KEY GOLD certified – the highest rating for sustainable businesses in the hospitality sector. This certificate recognizes our efforts to make sustainable entrepreneurship central to everything we do! We use triple glazing and a heat pump with 400% efficiency. We work with multiple local suppliers and with ecological and organic products such as organic wines, dairy, vegetables, and ecological cleaning agents.

Versatile event venue
We never stand still, and 2025 is another year filled with expansions and innovations! In addition to our 3 rooms with terraces by the water, we now also have a chic indoor lounge, a 500m2 pavilion on the outdoor area, and the airstream caravan by the water is now available for booking for management meetings. The beach has received a major upgrade with much more sand, palm trees, and a swing over the water. Additionally, a new outdoor kitchen with terrace, parasols, and a very large grill will be added.
For activities in between, there are 3 pétanque courts on our grounds, and our restaurant inside the building has also been completely renovated.

Ons 25 jarig huwelijksfeest was mede door het personeel en locatie fantastisch! Desiree die ons vanaf het eerste moment goed heeft geholpen en alles van te voren heeft afgestemd! Ook op de dag zelf ging alles prima! Hele aardige bediening, eten was perfect en echt een top locatie🤍 Bedankt Jacco en Marieke en kids
Alles was goed verzorgd voor ons personeelsuitje. Het diner van de smoke BBQ was fantastisch. Personeel vriendelijk. We hebben een super dag gehad hier! Groetjes, de Beren
We hadden een.. bruiloftslunch.. het was in alle opzichten een fantastische ervaring. Al onze gasten waren vol lof over de keuken de bediening en de locatie. Ook was de voorbereiding van het feest heel professioneel en warm persoonlijk. Kortom een feest bij de Houtse Meren is een echte aanrader.
Het zag er prachtig uit (locatie is fantastisch), we hebben heerlijk gegeten, er werd vanuit Het Houtse Meer meegedacht, de sfeer was top, zeer positieve reacties van de aanwezigen: alles bij elkaar echt een zeer geslaagde avond!
