The Church is a small-scale, sustainable meeting location in Drachtstercompagnie, Friesland, near Drachten and the A7 towards Groningen. In this former church from 1921, you can meet, brainstorm, or organize a team day with a maximum of 10 people. You have access to two flexible team spaces, modern meeting facilities, and a shared living kitchen. Right in the middle of the meadows, just a few minutes from the highway.

Two team spaces, all the room for new ideas
At the back of The Church, you will find two modern, flexibly arranged team spaces. You always rent them together, so you can easily switch between group discussions and smaller conversations.

• Team space 1: flexibly arranged, with a large screen.
• Team space 2: located on the mezzanine, suitable for smaller sessions.
• Capacity: maximum of 10 people.
• Facilities: fiber internet, wifi, flip charts, and brainstorming materials.

The living kitchen: the heart of The Church
After an intensive brainstorming session, it’s time to unwind. You walk into the living kitchen, where the coffee is ready and the table invites you to sit down. Here you enjoy a prepared lunch together. No quick sandwich behind your laptop,
but real time for each other.
The living kitchen is not a meeting room. It is the meeting place of The Church. You might just run into one of the regular churchgoers. Creative people who work here daily and bring their own stories. And who knows, during such an unexpected conversation, that one new idea might arise.

History with a sustainable future
The Church was built in 1921 and has had various functions over the years. It has now been sustainably renovated with great care into a special workplace. The history remains, but the facilities are completely up to date. The building is
gas-free and has, among other things, solar panels, a heat pump, and LED lighting.
This way, you meet in a place with a past én a view to the future.

Practically arranged, personally welcomed
You will find The Church at De Skieding 65 in Drachtstercompagnie, close to the A7. It’s easy to reach by car. There are eight parking spaces and a charging station available. You can also easily meet at the carpool location ‘Frieschepalen’, De Scheiding 8, 9222 LR Drachtstercompagnie to drive to The Church together from there. This carpool location is one and a half kilometers away from The Church. The location is less accessible by public transport.
A half day rental starts from €250 and a full day from €500, excluding VAT. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and snacks are included. A catered lunch is possible from €10 per person.
