Welkom bij Het Koelhuis! Met zijn stoere uitstraling en geschiedenis is deze industriële evenementenlocatie een inspirerende plek voor uiteenlopende bijeenkomsten. Centraal gelegen in Oost-Nederland, direct achter het NS-station in Zutphen, aan de IJssel met jachthaven en naast een parkeergarage.
De ruimtes in Het Koelhuis zijn bij uitstek geschikt voor congressen, culturele programma’s, personeelsfeesten, productpresentaties, fotoshoots, online- en hybride events, en internal branding events.
Het gebouw heeft vijf verdiepingen met negen modulair inzetbare ruimtes. De hoge plafonds, bijzondere trapleuningen en robuuste elementen uit het verleden geven een industriële sfeer. De mooie uitgelichte ruimtes zijn sfeervol ingericht.

Het Koelhuis wordt sinds 2012 ontwikkeld door Studio Hoogeveen & van Tilburg. De Studio is een evenementen- en communicatiebureau dat sterk is in de ontwikkeling van communicatiemiddelen, het verzorgen van teksten voor uiteenlopende media en is thuis in het doelgericht inzetten van audiovisuele middelen.
In de meeste ruimtes maken we gebruik van op kleur instelbare LED-spots en het gehele gebouw beschikt over gratis glasvezelverbinding. De wanden zijn voorzien van een isolatielaag van gerecycled materiaal. Dit zorgt voor een uitstekende akoestiek bij grote én kleinere events.
Ons ervaren team kan de organisatie van jouw evenement van concept tot volledige realisatie voor zijn rekening nemen. We kunnen het complete projectmanagement of delen daarvan op ons nemen. Van concept, de ontwikkeling van communicatiemiddelen tot draaiboeken, budgetbewaking en de inrichting van onze locatie.

Welcome to Het Koelhuis! With its rugged appearance and history, this industrial event venue is an inspiring space for various gatherings. Centrally located in the Eastern part of the Netherlands, right behind Zutphen’s train station, along the river IJssel with a marina and next to a parking garage.
The spaces in Het Koelhuis are ideally suited for conferences, cultural programs, staff parties, product presentations, photoshoots, online and hybrid events, and internal branding events.
The building has five floors with nine modularly deployable spaces. The high ceilings, unique stair railings, and robust elements from the past create an industrial atmosphere. The beautifully lit spaces are tastefully furnished.

Het Koelhuis has been developed since 2012 by Studio Hoogeveen & van Tilburg. The Studio is an events and communication agency that excels in developing communication material, providing texts for various media, and is proficient in the purposeful use of audiovisual resources.
In most spaces, we use color-adjustable LED spotlights, and the entire building is equipped with a fiber optic connection. The walls are insulated, ensuring excellent acoustics for both large and smaller events.
Our experienced team can handle the organization of your event from concept to full realization. We can take on the complete project management or parts thereof. From concept, development of communication materials to schedules, budget monitoring, and the styling of our location.

Here you will find practical information about the location.
Across Het Koelhuis, just a 2-minute walk away, you'll find the Q-Park garage at Lijmerij. The garage offers 250 parking spaces, for which we can provide exit passes.
Het Koelhuis is easily accessible by public transport. We are located 200 meters from the station, which serves multiple intercity routes, including direct connections to Deventer, Arnhem, Nijmegen, Winterswijk, Zwolle, and Hengelo. Exiting the station through the rear exit and turning left will lead you directly to Het Koelhuis.
There are several hotels in and around Zutphen, all within a 5-minute walking distance.
We have our own professional production kitchen and handle events from A to Z. It is not possible to bring in external catering.
The celebration is possible until 1 a.m.
Navigation address: Lijmerij 2, 7202 AZ, Zutphen. If you are coming from Apeldoorn/Voorst, continue towards 'De Hoven' at the final roundabout on the ring road. Follow this road over the IJssel bridge. Immediately after the bridge, turn left through the light tunnel. You will find the Station P+R parking garage on the first street to the right (diagonally across from Het Koelhuis).
