Le Coq is a complex of the oldest wooden houses in Zaandam, built between 1640 and 1860. The house is located on the idyllic Hanenpad, a former waterway full of history, where fishmongers, craftsmen, and carpenters once lived and worked.

Le Coq blue is the only building that has been completely renovated and excellently insulated, while preserving character.
