The living room, our 2nd hall, offers 90m2 of space to dine with 50 people or to stay in a more informal setting. The large windows provide a beautiful view over the estate bordering the forest. 

This biobased building is made from Douglas firs that were harvested 300 meters away from our location. An original timber frame construction of Douglas gives the whole a authentic character. The interior is finished with Douglas planks. The walls are insulated with Achterhoek straw and the roof with Miscanthus. The sound insulation of the partition walls is made from old jeans.

Here, the concepts of 'circular', 'biobased', and 'regenerative' truly come to life! 

Adjacent to the living room is the spacious catering kitchen equipped with all the necessary large kitchen appliances needed to cook at a high level for large groups.
