About the space

"The store Starbucks sold only beans and machines in 1971 in Seattle. When Howard Schultz joined the company in 1982, he suggested selling high-quality coffee. The founders reacted skeptically and so Howard opened his own stores (Il Giornale) in 1985. In 1987 he took over Starbucks and made it the world's largest and most famous coffee brand."

The Howard is inspired by Amsterdam's pub life. Who doesn't enjoy staying in an Amsterdam pub during working hours? The space has direct access to The Louis, making it suitable as a break-out space for this purpose.
