Pean-buiten Weidum | Meeting in a farmhouse from 1867, near Leeuwarden
Close to Leeuwarden, far from the hustle and bustle
Weidum is located in the Frisian meadow landscape, eight kilometers from Leeuwarden. By car, you can get there in ten minutes. And yet you are right in the meadow, directly on the Elfstedenroute.
On the estate stands a kop-hals-romp farmhouse from 1867. This farmhouse is the heart of the location. Surrounding it is a three-hectare estate.
Two spaces in the farmhouse
- De Deel – the former hay storage in the barn, converted into a meeting room. Up to thirty at the table, fifty in theater style, and seventy standing; with the bar and stable area included, up to 150.
- Het Voorhuis – the farmer's residence, with a large downstairs area. A meeting room for sixteen, with the farmer's kitchen and living room next door for further discussions in smaller groups.
Why should you come here?
Because there is little to distract you. No view of a parking lot, no office across the street. Just meadows, sky, and the Swette.

We provide lunch, dinner, and drinks ourselves, with products from nearby and in line with the seasons.
After the session, you don't have to hit the road
You can stay overnight in one of the ten Tiny Houses, a houseboat, a farmhouse room, a garden room, or the Voorhuis Weidum. Together, they offer 54 beds, always made up. The group accommodation is the Voorhuis with the six farmhouse rooms on the first floor included: eighteen people under one roof. There are also camper spots available.
Dogs are welcome in the Tiny Houses, houseboats, garden rooms, and the Voorhuis, and in one room in the farmhouse. Not in the farmhouse rooms on the upper floor: there is carpet there. The surcharge is 25 euros per dog per stay.
