The Catharijnezaal refers to Saint Catherine of Alexandria, one of the most important patron saints of medieval Utrecht.
Her name lives on in numerous Utrecht icons, such as the Catharijnesingel, the St. Catherine Cathedral, and Hoog Catharijne. Over the centuries, Catharijne has symbolized hospitality, meeting, and the connection between travelers, residents, and visitors of the city.
The Catharijnezaal accommodates 30 guests theater-style, 14 in a U-shape, or 16 at long tables. A versatile meeting room for discussions, presentations, and sessions that require a good setting.
