Where metal bars were rolled with great precision to exactly the right thickness, now lies the second largest event hall of Munthuys.

It was one of the most important production spaces of the Muntgebouw. Here, cast metal bars were transformed into thin plates from which the coins were later made. 

In the production process of the Royal Mint, the rolling mill formed the link between the raw metal and the final coin. Without this step, no uniform coins could be minted. The Rolling Mill accommodates 200 guests in a plenary setting and 250 guests for a reception, making it a versatile hall for conferences, corporate parties, and large presentations.

The hall has the same complete AV infrastructure as the Muntzaal.
This can, just like in the Muntzaal, be used for a fee, including a technician. The setup can be expanded to a complete show set. For custom solutions in lighting, sound, and image, Munthuys collaborates with a dedicated technical partner, Purple Haze.
